Free Bird

I'm only giving myself 10 minutes to blog tonight so I have to make this quick. I am starting us on a new schedule this week. In my attempt to finish writing a book in 6 months, and to be more productive in life in general, I have to make some changes to our current lifestyle. Waking up to an alarm clock at an early morning hour being one of them. Not staying up late blogging, being another.

We had a great weekend. It was warm and sunny.....thank God. Saturday night we had a bonfire at the beach in town, the waves were crashing only a few feet away from us, the fire was bright and warm, and for a split second it felt like we were a million miles away from Ozark.

Sunday morning I was on breakfast prep and watched the sun come up over the Arkansas river, it was comforting and spectacular. I'm in love with the silence of the morning and the warmth of the new spring air.

Saturday Night Beach Party.

Enjoying the warm afternoon sun, I have waited months to be able to say that.

I challenge my daughter to live life on the edge, sometimes that means scaling barb wire fences. And guess what, (gasp) she rarely ever get's hurt.
