My Crazy Roomate/Favorite Person in the World

Who is this girl?

My name is Elise. I am a homeschooling single mom, a writer and speaker, and full time missionary with YWAM. My 3 year old daughter and I live in a quirky teeny cabin in the redwoods 3 miles from the sea.

In 2007 my life was forever changed when I was raped and subsequently became pregnant. God has been faithful, loving and sovereign to me every step of the way. If you obey Him and trust Him, he'll turn your wreckage into something beautiful.

I love journaling by candle light. I love creating a warm and happy home for my daughter. I love reminding people how blessed we are to be Americans. I love down comforters, claw foot tubs and the color white.

From a content heart, I dream of being married to a Godly good lookin' man and having as many children as the Lord will bless us with.

....But until God brings that to pass, we've got a pretty good thing going and I'm trying to cherish every second of it.
